We just submitted our application to Great Wall China Adoption, which is the second little step in this humongous undertaking! The first step was filling out our local agency's application for a home study, and we hope to hear about that any time now.
Choosing the international agency was not easy, especially after we received so many heartfelt responses from references who are now living the dream! But it felt right. Every time that we took a step back and looked at our options, GWCA stood out of the crowd. We also admit that the president of GWCA, Snow Wu, reminded us a little bit of a Jedi knight in their informational video! Woosh. . . . woosh. . .
Anyway, we have years ahead of us. Literally. But somewhere out there in this big bizarre world and in our own nebulous futures, a little girl will be waiting patiently for us to bring her home. That is a pretty amazing thought.

Yeah!!! Congratulations to you two! Somewhere out there some little girl to be is going to be so lucky to end up with you two.
This is really thrilling and I can't wait to see this process unfold!

we are praying that the process will be smooth and the arrival of our new GRANDDAUGHTER will be celebrated and with great joy by her grandparents as well!
YOU GO! You are AWESOME! I can think of no nobler pursuit than what you are doing. God bless you!
