Phoebe entered a contest today called the
Tucson Lifestyle Cover Dog Search. She was #280, so she had plenty of time to size up the competition before ever-so-calmly showing off her stuff to the judges. We are confident that she will be the winner. It is Saturday night and we are just waiting for that phone to ring. . .
On her entrance form, Guy wrote down Phoebe's story of how she ended up at the Humane Society 10 and a 1/2 years ago. Apparently, Phoebe lived on a farm, but didn't get along with the pigs. When it came down to the pigs or Phoebe, well, Phoebe had to go! Lucky for us! We sure hope that she does not ever confuse our Ellie with a little pink piglet, though.
Anyway, Phoebe was hoping that you would send her some good vibes until that phone rings. And then it'll just be an uphill slide and a "we knew her when. . .".

Oma and Opa say you are a winner!!!!
See you all very soon!
I hope she wins. You saw that Stumpy, an elderly spaniel, won the Westminster this year. Reach for the stars Phoebe!
With a face like that, she's a winner!
