Hallow's Eve

Many of you received Howl-0-ween greetings from Ell-vis, the hound dog of all hound dogs. It would not be untrue to say that Ell-vis was there through thick and thin this past Friday fright night, but she wore a T-shirt instead of her rock star git-up. She's really a very down to earth gal despite her superstar status.

Philip, Cindy, Max & Susie B. came over to trick-or-treat, and to help hand out candy until Guy arrived home from call. The trick-or-treaters seemed fairly sparse in comparison to prior years. We finally went all out, thinking that we'd be prepared for sure this year with 20 bags of candy, and we only gave out about 14. The adult trick-or-treating bar was also sorely underused, above-mentioned names excluded. Murphy's Law.

It was great fun, though, and wonderful to be in the company of family.
