Yes, it is time for us to move on with our lives, but Ozzie just wanted me to post a little update, which is that as of today HIS STAPLES ARE OUT! Zip, zip, zipper be gone! Oz could not have recuperated more quickly from his major surgery, and he is itchin' to return to nurturing his squeaky toys, teasing our cats, and chasing lizards and rabbits around the front yard. We are so relieved about the ultimate outcome of this canine melodrama, and mainly, we now have our playful, loving, and inquisitive boy back ~ hopefully for a long long time.
Post Script: Ozzie had his first post-operative visitors today. Uncle Philip and Aunt Cindy thought that the patient was recovering pretty nicely! And Mr. Max played Oz a few happy little tunes...

Everyone looks great and we are really anxious to gett to Tucson in September.
