We attended a dinner party last evening. Our friends, Erika & Travis, hosted 3 couples for dining,
some wining, and musical selections from each of the attendees. It made us realize that sometimes entertaining consists of more than hiring a caterer and buying lots of beer and wine with which to fill the recycling bin to the brim before dawn! Everything was clearly orchestrated with a dinner party maestro's master flair! It was lovely. The photo below is entitled, "The Appropriate Doctors". The reason for that title has escaped us, especially since those two are anything but appropriate most of the time. Hard to believe. We know.

The two of us (not the appropriate doctors, but one appropriate doctor and her husband, Guy) hiked up Camelback Mountain this morning before we left. The weather was sunny and in the 70s and utterly gorgeous, and so, understandably, the Phoenicians
and then some were scaling the mountain in massive proportions!

It was a hearty work-out, though, and the 360 degree view of the valley of the sun is impressive. Speaking of the sun, it is unfathomable to see the amount of hikers without their hats in the place with
the second highest risk of melanoma in the entire world next to Australia (an appropriate doctor jab)! But not us. . . no not us. . .

Well, not one of us anyway. Now who is the inappropriate one?
