It is hard to believe this, but it will be one full year tomorrow since our official Log-In Date, and, yes, one year closer to our little girl or girls! And come to think about it, I have to admit that the year blew by us in a flurry of activity, work, pets, house projects, family, friends, and travel.
I suppose in a way that we are very lucky (for now!) that our lives are full to the brim, and that we can barely stay on top of everything as it is. The CCCWA may be five years behind the number of referrals, but we are busy and we are patient people!
A bit of good news is that the adoption LID's advanced 10 whole days this past month. Apparently that's the largest stretch in years! Is it a speed-up, attrition, new social welfare institutes, or all of the above? Whatever it is, this is good news.
