1.) The sunset. You will be brought to your knees by the awesome beauty almost every single time. The above photo was taken by photo-Guy at about 6 o'clock in the evening from our balcony at the Westin La Paloma. Why were we staying at the Westin La Paloma? Well, that brings us to the second thing you may not want to miss, and that is:
2.) The Angel's Ball. www.angelscharity.com. This is our second time at the ball, and it was an equally amazing "take two". It is one of the premier events in Tucson, and the "small" turnout this year numbered close to 1,000 people. That is, 1,000 people dressed to the nines, giving so generously that you would believe there may be no tomorrow, enjoying the spirit (and the spirits), and eating and dancing up a storm. And if those aren't enough reasons to consider buying your tickets to the ball in 2009, I've got one more good reason:
When else are you going to get a chance to see Marisa up on stage tickling the ol' inflatable saxophone in her evening gown?
A-ha! Gotcha'! Same time, same place,next year. We'll see you there!
