Destination Keystone

For almost one week at the end of August, we finally made it on a much-needed vacation with just each other. Guy's aunt Carolyn has a beautiful second home in Keystone, Colorado, which is where we set up camp while we hiked, biked, and horseback-rode around Summit County!

It seemed that everywhere we turned, we were blessed with another truly indescribable picture of beauty. Simply, the land is open, the skies are blue, the air is clean, and the sun is warm and bright. And 'simply content' is what we felt during our peaceful time in Colorado.

The highlights of our trip, you ask? Certainly, there were many, but among them are Lower Cataract Lake, the town of Breckenridge, Lower Crystal Lake, the 80 minute hot rocks massages at the Keystone Lodge & Spa, Cline Los Carneros 2005 Syrah, the ice-blue waters of Chihuahua Lake & the Rocky Mountain high we experienced on our way up, and our strong beautiful horses at the Keystone Ranch, named D.J. and Cinnamon.

If you haven't read or seen enough, we invite you to take in all of the beauty we were treated to on our vacation: http://picasaweb.google.com/MarisaAndGuy/KeystoneColoradoAugust2008?authkey=dbwR_XsB-f0
