Like a good wine. . .

old friendships get better with age! Naho Kamikawa (Hirokawa) and Marisa met in January of 1981 at the American International School of Dusseldorf. They were in elementary school together for almost 4 years, and then headed off to different paths that rarely crossed over almost 3 decades. However, through written letters, cards, and small gifts, they have maintained a beautiful friendship that has stood the test of time. The above picture was taken in New York City at the beginning of March, shortly before Naho and her husband, Tatsuya, moved home to Japan. "The better part of one's life consists of {her!} friendships." Pres. Abraham Lincoln.
